So, you’ve finally wised up and decided to ask Fulmer’s Belly for a link back. Sure, you might have to buy extra bandwidth for the 2 or maybe 4 hits you’ll encounter in the coming months, but let me tell you, it’s well worth it.
We here at Fulmer’s Belly are nothing if not snobs, so we do have a couple of rules to be able to be given links here.
1. You should probably be a blog of some sort.
While this isn’t a hard and fast rule, we’ve found that most of the time, regular sites don’t even have a place for reciprocal links, and we’re not cool with that. More on that in rule number…
2. Link Back.
Would it be too much to ask for you to link back to our blog when we’ve linked to yours? I don’t think so. If you’re going to be lame about it, we’ll find out (because we really have nothing better to do), and we’ll remove your link, and possibly even click our mouse really hard when we do.
3. Have been around for more than one (1) year .
This sounds kind of snobbish I’ll admit, but honestly, most blogs don’t last longer than a year. Generally speaking, people who start blogs, start off strong, but come the first bye week, or offseason, and most of them fizzle out. We’re not saying it’s a good or a bad thing, it’s just the truth of the matter.
Sound like a lot of rules, huh? Well, they’re not hard and fast, but think of them as “general guidelines.”
