Apparently the Big Orange Army, the group made for people too poor to buy boats, was too poor to do other things as well, such as pay for licensing. The Big Orange Army was apparently being sued by the University of Tennessee for illegal use of trademarks and logos (including the Power T logo).
This is good and bad news depending on your perspective. Good in that the University is working to protect it’s trademarks, but bad for places like this site (among other blogs), where we routinely steal images and logos for use in our awesome site graphics. Apparently the BOA has now become a licensee for the University and are apparently legit… but if say, the University came after us for illegal use of the logo, well, we’d just have to become a porn site. Maybe that’d actually be better. Boobies!
