Brooks is invincible

Kentucky Coach Rich Brooks was in a boating accident recently, and thankfully, him and the passengers were just fine.  Brooks was on board when the boat capsized, and the 66 year old coach courageously swam to shore.

Brooks was reportedly angry, as he built that boat himself from ancient redwood trees he felled himself, using an ax made from freshly sharpened dinosaur bones and with the help of Jesus.

All kidding aside, I like how the headline of the article linked above is “Ex-Ducks Coach OK” instead of “Kentucky Coach OK”.  I guess it’s that much more prestigious to have coached at a mediocre school in the PAC-10 than at Kentucky…which is kinda sad.  I even kind of like Rich Brooks…he’s taken the UK program a long way, despite the fact that they’re going to suck some serious balls this year.  If he retires soon, he’ll really be going out on a high note, unlike Lou Holtz and others who feel like they have something to prove and have come back to mediocre teams.

Anyhoo, after he retires, it’ll give him more time to work on that new boat of his.

LMAO. A wooden boat, no less? Noah would be proud of Rich. Nothing like a well-motivated senior citizen to stir the competitive juices.

Kentucky will finish 3-9 this year.
