In a microcosm of Chris Lofton’s career, on Thursday Night from San Antonio, Chris Lofton wasn’t quite able to get over the hump to win the 3-point shooting championship coming in second place after a second rack money ball decided not to cooperate with the shooter.
The real tragedy of the contest? The fact that Lofton was shown up by Shan Foster. Not in the competition, but in the tech department. Foster was clearly shown rocking text messages on his sidekick with full QWERTY keyboard, and Lofton was stuck texting on an old school flip or perhaps it was a slider phone. Bruce should buy Chris a smartphone. I’ll throw in a buck or two.
