Get it? Boilermakers? No? Fine. It’s because a boilermaker is a type of drink. Already knew that? Perhaps you should drink less on the job and read more books, about drinking. Either that or watch some movies. You know what was a good movie? Bad News Bears. They had a character on there that some of the other characters used to call “Boilermaker.”

I like Boilermaker better

I’m writing this post with 3 minutes left in the first half, because if the Lady Vols some how lose to Purdue after being up 37-13, I’ll never write about them again. I probably will, but you know, that’d be plenty embarassing. The Lady BasketVols have made their 2,004th straight Sweet 16 appearance (again, assuming the win), and will make a bid to repeat as National Champions.

It’s funny when it’s just assumed that the Lady BasketVols will make the Sweet 16, because it’s quite honestly, a pretty impressive achievement any year, let alone every year. Hopefully the men’s team is on their way to such prominence and dominance as well. Congratulations to Pat Summitt and the Lady BasketVols, and good luck in Oklahoma City
