The Lady Vols rolled up a first round victory against Oral Roberts (forgive me if I laugh uncontrollably at some point), beating the Jobbers Golden Eagles 94-55 in a game that was a little closer than it probably should have been (in the first 5 minutes or so).
You know your team is outmatched when Pat Summitt is spending the better part of the second half playing a Nintendo DS with Candace Parker on the bench. It was unfortunate that ORU lost their best scorer in the first 10 seconds of the game thanks to the Lady Vols Cheerleaders’ signs (we should place some around the perimeter for the men’s game vs. Louisville btw).
Congrats to the Lady Vols, and let’s see if we can’t get that 8th ring for Summitt’s uh, left middle finger.

I felt bad for Mariana Camargo – you could see she was in pain. It wouldn’t have made much difference, but I’d rather see the other team at full strength.
