It seems that SI has a boner for UNC getting close to the size of the one that ESPN has for Duke. Either that, or they are living in denial world. Either that, or they’re just dumb. Either that or… I can’t really come up with any more excuses for those guys.
As it turns out, SI.com, a subsidiary of CNN, decided that it’d be a good idea to write a big front page article about the big #1 vs. #2 game, then in the headlines, have something about the #1 team beating NC State due to some help by Tyler Hansborough. Does something seem weird about that? Well, have a look for yourself.

Hmm, No. 1 in SI’s hearts and minds maybe.
Weird, ain’t it? But the big picture on the page is indeed, Bruce Pearl, and his gloriously sweaty forehead, and soon-to-be sweaty jacket. Discuss.

Let’s keep a clock on this thing.
9:21 EST and it’s still up.
11:24 EST
Maybe I need one of those “life” things people keep talking about.
…Hey, are they talking about ACC conference standings, perhaps?
Still up at 12:01PM EST. Seems kinda stupid of them to list the conference rankings in the title, if that’s the case. If so, we’d have No. 1 Butler headlines, or No. 1 American U. fending off No. 2 Navy.
Even if they were talking about the ACC standings, Duke is the current leader, not UNC.
Still up at 12:07pm CST. But Bruce is gone
I’m going to listen to My Chemical Romance and drown my sorrows.
3:20 EST
I’m guessing that it’s going to be a permanent mistake. After this evening, the new headlines will push it off the list into obscurity.
The real WTF is, why is Bruce pointing to his penis.
The weblink you sent doesn’t seem to work, does any person have a mirror or backup website link source?
