(This will be my last Super Bowl post, I swear. Okay, probably not, since there’s nothing to talk about now until next season starts… but for now, this is it.)
The New York Giants pulled off one of the most improbable upsets in sports over the weekend, by knocking off the seemingly unbeatable Patriots in the process. Will this be considered the greatest upset of all time? Of course, it is always difficult to compare different sports along with different generations, but in the present, it is absolutely the biggest story in sports.

Left out in all this discussion of the “Big Game” are the commercials, and the fact that more than half the viewers were likely there just to see the new ads this year. Have to say the Doritos commercial with the guy baiting the rat hole with nacho cheese Doritos was the greatest. If you happened to miss it you can find it here http://www.myspace.com/superbowlads# along with all the others. It’s the last one of the 2nd quarter.
That one was pretty good, but it sort of felt like the production quality wasn’t quite up to par. It felt like another one of those fan-made ads.
Some of the ads were just terrible though. Just regular ‘ole ads. Why spend millions to just have a regular ad? That’s what I want to know.
I thought I was the only one that thought that the SalesGenie ads were racist…glad to know I am not alone.
But in the words of Achmed the Dead Terrorist…”Silence….I kill you!”
haha, the i kill you dummy was actually pretty funny.
