Urban Strikes Again…

Urban Meyer, the strictest disciplinarian in the world, has suspended Brandon James for marijuana possession.  Of course, the suspension is only in effect for… wait for it… Western Kentucky.

We’ve written about this before, but Urban Meyer is probably the most transparent bender of the rules of any SEC coach.  Sure, you might have been able to get away with that crap in the Mountain West Conference when every game is against Western Kentucky, but when a player is suspended for Southeastern Louisiana State Tech, but not for Georgia or Tennessee, we’ve got issues.

Say what you will about the other coaches in the league, and even Steve Spurrier, but for the most part, they’ll suspend players even for big games if they have to.  The difference?  Their players get in trouble before homecoming games and not before league games.  Urban’s gotta learn that.  And also, to learn that his parents hated him.  Because why else would someone name their own child “Urban?”  I can’t wait to meet his kids, “Rural” and “Really Stupid Name.”

Just when I thought Les Miles didn’t have any balls…come to find out, Ryan Perilloux is now third string behind some freshman – and all he did was try to walk into a casino with his brother’s ID. Apparently even Miles is Les (Get it? Heh. I kill me.) of a rules breaker than Meyer. Then again…have you known too many universities in Florida that kept up a stellar reputation by clamping down on thuggishness?

That’s true, lest we forget the awesome level of character at places like the couple of unnamed florida schools that got into a brawls-all last year..
