Ranking the SEC: Quarterbacks – East Part 2

We’re taking a look at the quarterbacks of the SEC, ranking them in terms of, well, whatever I want. So, without further ado, part 2 of the Eastern Division:

3. Matthew Stafford

Skillz – Stafford really came on at the end of the season, throwing for 134.5 yards per game and taking over the leadership role at UGA. His numbers overall weren’t super impressive, but he showed flashes of brilliance that could turn into something scary with the right combination of coaching and a receiving corps, both of which aren’t beyond the realm of possibility.

Scare Factor - Without having to look over his shoulder, Stafford could really do some good things. The scariest thing about Matthew Stafford? His ability to wave to chicks at the same time as throwing the ball. I mean, just look at that picture. He’s about to complete a deep out route and simultaneously pick up some hot chicks. Or kegs. Or both.

Weird Looking Face – This kid might have a normal looking face for all I know, but I can’t see it behind the crow’s nest he calls his hairdo. Do kids still say “hairdo?” No? Well, that’s too bad, because his hair style came from England in the 60s with the Beatles.

2. Erik Ainge

Skillz – After a great freshman season, Ainge hit a bit of a Sophomore slump, but then came back with a vengeance his Junior year with the help of receivers such as future first rounder Robert Meachem and Bret Smith. There’s no doubting that Ainge has skillz, and having Peyton Manning as a mentor can’t hurt either.

Scare Factor - Erik won’t wow anyone with his running ability, or his overall athletic prowess, but his arm has a precision accuracy that likely puts fear into many a DB.

Weird Looking Face – It would seem that the ladies on campus don’t think Erik has a weird looking face at all. I can’t say for sure whether the view is due to his celebrity, his famous family, or his huge… weiner. See what I did there?

1. Andre Woodson

Damn, this kid’s got it all. He’s a great quarterback, he’s being picked to be one of the favorites to be the best QB in the SEC, he’s adored by his fans, and apparently he’s 8 feet tall.

Skillz – There’s no denying that Andre’s got the skillz. He threw 31 touchdowns vs. 7 interceptions. Thirty One touchdowns.. Holy crap. I mean, you can’t deny the ability, and on that merit alone, he is almost good enough to be #1.

Scare Factor - So, this kid won’t exactly “wow” you with rushing ability or anything like that, but with the skill set that he has in terms of throwing the ball, he doesn’t need that particular skill set to be successful. Not to mention, he’s 8 feet tall. Look at that pic!

Weird Looking Face – Well, it’s hard to judge from that particular angle, but overall, this kid’s face seems to be pretty symmetrical and well, you can’t fault anyone for having an even looking face.

Congrats to all the quarterbacks of the SEC East, and know that these rankings mean way more than any other kinds of rankings out there.
