Six Degrees of Tennessee

Okay, so since it’s the offseason, we’ve been holding back on doing our super popular “Female of the Week” segment (which btw, if you or someone you know would like to be featured, drop us a line at admin@fulmersbelly.com… doesn’t even have to be a UT girl, can be an opposing team hottie, we don’t discriminate), but that left us with a noticeable lack of sexy ladies on our site. But at the same time, everyone loves hot girls. Even hot girls love hot girls, so we’re embarking on a new segment we like to call “Six Degrees of Tennessee” that’ll be featured on Wednesdays. Why Wednesday? Because it’s hump day of course. And because there’s nothing else to write about midweek. But really because it’s hump day… yeah.

How it’s going to work is simple: we’ll find some random hot girl, be it actress, singer, model, whoever, and attempt to find a link Kevin Bacon style, back somehow to Tennessee in six degrees or less. I can already imagine, as with our first girl that most of the actresses will hopefully be connected somehow to Quentin Tarantino or Samuel L. Jackson in some way, because frankly, we’re not that smart. Anyway, without further ado, the first installment of SDoT:

Jessica Biel

Check out the string and a couple more pics of Jessica after the jump…

-> Is currently starring in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry with:
-> Adam Sandler, who was in Little Nicky which was directed by co-starring with (thanks A Non USC Fan!):
-> Quentin Tarantino who was born in Knoxville, TN

Have more suggestions for the new series? Put ‘em in the comments yo!

I’m sorry to break this to you, but Steven Brill directed “Little Nicky” however, the religious mad man seen at various points in the film proclaiming the Devil’s arrival was indeed Quentin Tarantino.

    GO VOLS!!!

Absolutely my mistake. You’re right. Quentin Tarantino however, did act in Little Nicky… so that works.

Samuel L Jackson was born in Chattanooga and doesn’t have a connection to Knoxville. However, you do have that kid from The Client and that guy that was in U-571 and other movies. I don’t remember either of their names.

Yeah, that is true about Samuel L. Jackson, but if I’m having a tough time, I’ll amend it as being Six Degrees of (anywhere in) Tennessee, hehe.

The guy from U-571, David Keith, I remember was in “Behind Enemy Lines” where Owen Wilson makes reference to the “Tennessee Vols” come to think of it, I could use that reference too.

Brad Renfro, from the Client is also from Knoxville, (Good Catch), younger than me, and a more successful actor than me. That’s pretty awesome. I just looked up his IMDB profile, and it turns out he’s the Pacman Jones of actors from Knoxville… I especially found this funny:

    - Has played in a school production sponsored by DARE, a program in which young people learn about the danger of drugs.

    - Knoxville, Tennessee: He struck a plea bargain on cocaine and marijuana charges and agreed to undergo random drug screening. [3 July 1998]

    - He was arrested in his hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, when police pulled him over and allegedly found cocaine and marijuana in his pants and socks. [5 June 1998]

Not to mention a slew of drunk and disorderly type arrests and trying to… wait for it… steal a yacht! Man, this kid deserves his own post.
