Peyton Manning was in Los Angeles earlier this week, as was reported by our friends over at Conquest Chronicles. As it turns out, he was shooting a commercial, and thought it would be a good idea to stay sharp and throw some passes around with some of the Trojan football team.
Now, I’ve never been the caliber athlete to even share the same earth with Peyton Manning, but I’d imagine, if I were one of the receivers, and Peyton Manning, Superbowl MVP was throwing passes my way, I’d feel a pretty strong obligation to catch the balls. Even if Peyton was purposefully throwing errant passes, I’d still feel the need to catch the balls regardless.
I was thinking that it would have been funny if Peyton had thrown balls straight at Booty’s balls knocking them out of the air, but Don mentioned that he thought it would have been better had Peyton aimed the balls directly at Booty’s balls. Either way, I would have laughed.
But still, that’s pretty cool that Peyton threw balls around with college kids, who quite possibly might be playing for him in the future. Superbowl MVP Manning is still a pretty cool guy in my book.
